Consumer is boss
For many years I worked in R&D for the consumer goods giant, Procter & Gamble. Throughout my time there, the mantra ‘Consumer is Boss’, was key to everything we did. At P&G there are a group of talented scientists who play a specialist role in trying to determine and define the critical elements that lead to a successful product design. They do this by really getting to know and understand the end user of their products, asking them questions, spending time with them using the products, even going into their homes to watch them interact with the products in their daily lives. Â
