Business support for women in Scotland

Jamie Hepburn MSP and Lynne Cadenhead, Chair of Women’s Enterprise Scotland

There are a number of organisations which provide different kinds of support for women in business in Scotland – nationally, regionally and locally.

Many of those which operate at a national level or represent coordinated local activities are represented on the Scottish Government’s Action Group for Women in Enterprise, chaired by Scottish Government Minister for Business, Fair Work and Skills Jamie Hepburn MSP. Women’s Enterprise Scotland (WES) actively participates in this group.

Women’s Business Centre is a new platform for delivery of business support to women, created and managed by WES. Links to other organisations can be found throughout the site where they may be able to provide additional support relevant to specific articles. For more information you can also find out more about them through the following links.
