In February 2022 the Women’s Enterprise Scotland International Conference set out to forge a path to economic equality. Over 400 attendees in Scotland and across the globe gathered to advocate for a shared mission of women’s economic empowerment.

Empowering women entrepreneurs
Women’s Enterprise Scotland Ambassadors and members of the Women’s Business Centre championed diversity and women-led solutions. Liberty Bligh of Truboox, Mel MacIntyre of Mel MacIntyre Coaching, Claudia Duffy of Innovare IP and Rachel Jones of Snapdragon Monitoring championed solutions from across wellbeing, community interest and tech sectors.
Pheona Matovu of Radiant and Brighter celebrated the power of women to tackle bias and pave the way for for future generations at the WES International Conference 2022.
Calling for politicians to support women entrepreneurs
Attendees welcomed keynote presentations from policy leaders, including Kate Forbes,Cabinet Secretary for Finance and the Economy, Gillian Martin MSP and former First Minister, Lord Jack McConnell.
Establishing priorities
