The WES Awards 2024 are open for entries

Women’s Enterprise Scotland Awards 2024 will shine spotlight on Scotland’s women business leaders

Entries to the WES Awards 2024 are now closed. All applications will go through first round judging and finalists will be assessed by the judging panel to decide our 2024 winners. Winners will be announced on Thursday 3 October in Glasgow.

The Women’s Enterprise Scotland (WES) Awards recognise success and provide a platform for showcasing the achievements of Scotland’s inspiring women-led businesses. The WES Awards 2024, which are now open for entries, will be held at a glittering awards ceremony taking place at the voco Grand Central Hotel Glasgow on Thursday 3 October.

Notable highlights from last year’s Awards include Aberdeen based Ann Johnson, of Blaze Manufacturing Solutions, who took the coveted Inspiring Leader of the Year Award 2023, whilst The Tartan Blanket Company, founded by Emma Macdonald, was named Outstanding Business of the Year 2023. Deer Manor Gourmet Mushrooms, founded by Alisha Fuller-Armah, took the award for Start-Up Business of the Year 2023.

There are 10 award categories to choose from, all of which are free to apply. Applications must be submitted by Friday 7th June. Find out more about the categories and how to apply.

When you’re focused on your business, winning an award might be the last thing on your mind but there are plenty of reasons why you should apply for our awards.

Tickets for our evening event, which include a drinks reception, dinner and awards ceremony, will be on sale shortly. Join us to celebrate success and recognise the incredible work and achievements of women, like you, across the country.
