There are significant disparities in the use of the IP system by women and other minority groups. Women are severely under-represented as innovators and creators of IP assets, as named innovators on registrable IP Rights (patents, trademarks, designs), as senior leaders in technology sectors, as entrepreneurs, as well as IP professionals (patent attorneys, IP solicitors).
